What Movement Means to Me
Movement is more than just physical activity; it’s a way to connect with your body, mind, and spirit. It encompasses a variety of practices that promote health, vitality, and well-being.
My journey through various movement disciplines has shaped my practice, where each element informs and enriches the others. My foundation in Olympic weightlifting and powerlifting provides a deep understanding of strength and technique. This is complemented by my martial arts training in boxing and aikido, which emphasizes coordination, balance, and reflexes. Mindfulness and breath awareness have been cultivated through hatha and vinyasa yoga.
As I continue to evolve, I incorporate gymnastic strength and conditioning to build functional strength and control. The Primal Moves Method enhances my intuitive approach to movement, focusing on natural patterns. Integrating breathwork has been essential for improving circulation and promoting relaxation.
My practice goes beyond mastering techniques; it’s about fostering a deeper connection with my body and enhancing awareness and ease. I aim to share this journey with you, exploring new possibilities together.
